Public Health & Service-Learning in Ho Chi Minh City
CET Vietnam is for students interested in witnessing international development up close. As an emerging Asian nation, Vietnam faces local challenges that have global relevance—public health infrastructure, deforestation, long-term economic and health impacts of war. CET Vietnam students have the opportunity to not only examine these challenges, but gain hands-on experience trying to solve them. They conduct service-learning, take multidisciplinary electives, learn Vietnamese, and live with English-speaking local roommates. This is a program for reflective, curious, challenge-seeking students. There is no language prerequisite.
