CIEE Communications, Business, and Political Economy Program in Taipei, Taiwan
The politics of business or the business of politics – you’ll explore both using Taiwan and its $403 billion credit to the U.S. as a case study with CIEE. You’ll also examine the evolving field of communications and new media, deepen your understanding of Taiwanese culture, and improve your Mandarin language skills. Don’t forget to make time for fun as there are countless options, from trying tai chi in a park to channeling your inner rock star at a karaoke club.

Study abroad in Taiwan and you will:logo
  • Access an advanced curriculum through the International Master’s Program in International Communication Studies (IMICS) and International Master’s Program in Asia Pacific Studies (IMAS)
  • Improve your Chinese language skills with the help of peer language partners and custom classes catering to novice through advanced students
  • Gain professional experience through internships with local media organizations
