Program Information:

The Gold Coast is one of Australia's fastest- growing cities, known for its beautiful beaches, sporting events, and outdoor activities.  You will be studying near some of Australia's most valued treasures, including the Great Barrier Reef, inland mountains, and tropical rainforests.  As a CISabroad student, you’ll spend a semester studying abroad at Bond University, one of the most highly ranked and modern universities in Australia.

Here are some things to expect while on this unique program:
  • Small class sizes – Get one-on-one attention as the student to faculty ratio is 11:1. Amazing!

  • A surfer’s paradise – Learn to rip, carve and ride on world-class waves.  The Gold Coast has some of the best surfing in the world, and the weather is warm and sunny year-round.

  • Learn from the best – Bond University received 5 out of 5 stars in Australia’s Good Universities Guide for quality of teaching.  Courses use the newest technology, and professors think outside the box.

Location:
The Gold Coast is a coastal city in Australia, located in South East Queensland.  It is home to many popular sporting events, including Titans Rugby League, Association of Surfing Professionals, golf and more! Don’t be surprised if you see some of Australia’s most well-known creatures while in the area – kangaroos, koalas and dolphins. You will never have trouble finding a good place to eat as the Gold Coast offers a wide variety of every possible combination among its many restaurants and cafes.

Highlights:
There are many reasons to study on our Semester on The Gold Coast program, but here are a few of the key highlights that make this program unique.

•
Surf outside of class - the ocean is only 15 minutes away from campus!
•   Get personalized attention with small class sizes and a small student body of only 4,000 students
•   Get the most out of your semester through the CISabroad adventure and student orientation.
•   Stay fit and healthy with an Olympic-size pool and state-of-the-art gym located on cmapus!
•   Semesters begin in September, January, and May, similar to the US system
