Founded in 1607, Justus Liebig University Giessen is one of Germany’s top research universities both rich in tradition and highly innovative. With its forward-looking concept of “Translating Science” the university carries on the tradition established by its eponym Justus von Liebig, an approach to research and teaching also reflected in JLU’s university motto: “Study life – explore the world”.
Giessen University
